Yotam Ottolenghi

My sister Sara gave me Yotam Ottolenghi’s gorgeous vegetarian cookbook Plenty last year.  Funny thing is he is not a vegetarian, just a cook who makes vegetables the star of the show.  He likes to build a dish on a few simple ingredients — strong Middle Eastern and Asian flavors, combinations of cooked and raw vegetables and mixes of fresh and dried herbs.  Darcy got to try his restaurant in London this spring — can’t wait for my turn when we head to our friends Cat and Mark’s wedding next summer.
